Up for sale is this ultra desirable early Baywindow Westfalia camper! Built November of 67’ and outfitted by Westfalia with a full camper interior which includes a pop top, folds out childs cot, front childs cot, icebox cooler, closet, table, overhead storage, curtains, etc! Finished in the very popular color of Velvet Green this Westy really stands out in a crowd! This bus features a 1600 single port engine that has undergone a recent rebuild. The 4-speed transmission is a correct 3-rib box and thanks to all of the new shifter bushings and couplers we just installed, it shifts like a dream! No grinding, no gear pop-outs, etc. The engine starts quick and easy and revs smooth with no flat spots. All lights, gauges, and switches work as they should. In the last year this bus received a complete overhaul including paint, interior, all rubber seals and gaskets, shocks, tie rods, drag link, drums, shoes, wheel cylinders, upgraded modern radio and speakers, and so much more! The underside is clean, dry, and unrestored. The original dealer installed belly pans are in-tact and there is no sign of any previous accident damage. This bus came to us from California and is being sold with a clean and clear California title! A true west coast bus that has never spent any time in a salty or northern environment! These early baywindows are gaining value quickly compared to the earlier split window buses. They are also 10x more driver friendly!
